Truly if I could give more than 5 stars I would Service 5/5 The staff was friendly and kind and wanted conversations. They were very helpful in explaining things as a new customer but they seem the type to want to do that with everyone. Everyone I did speak with too was very kind. They act like they love their jobs and it truly shows. They make everyone feel welcomed. Pricing is about 20-30 per person Portions are generous Food quality is amazing When I first came here I was hesitant. Boy did they prove me wrong. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything is made to order and that makes it better. Got a second order recently and let me tell you it's still amazing. The food is authentic and unique and definitely worth giving a try. My favorite bit of it though is that you can choose your spice level. And the spice levels don't affect the taste and you can still taste the deliciousness of the dishes with added heat to it. This might become one of my new favorite spots and is definitely the best spot by far that I have reviewed. My wife and I eat here whenever we're in the area as we live about 45 minutes south. Absolutely DELICIOUS! I usually get the vindaloo (not always) and it is easily the best I've had anywhere. We love this restaurant, highly recommend.

I have been gone for five years and I took me and the boyfriend to star of India because they give generous portions and their hospitality has always been great and it still is to this day. They the quality is good. The portions are good and exceptional hospitality. It really feels like a hug from family. This is coming from someone in management in hospitality and I hope you read this review I know that it is genuine. Give these people a generous tip because they certainly deserve it. Support Local!

Today was my 1st visit there. The waiter was so friendly. The food came out fast. Biryani Chicken and the Samosa platter is what we ordered. Can't wait to come back when not in a hurry and truly enjoy. Awesome job!!!

This place is AMAZING! When we walked in the smell of the food/spices just pulled you in. The food is outstanding and the service is even better. Our server Jesse was so personable and happy to help two Indian food newbies by explaining the different dishes and his recommendations. The service didn’t stop there. He showed us how to eat with real Indian etiquette with the naan bread. The portions and quality of the dishes made you feel like you got more than your moneys worth. To top it off he found out it was my birthday and gave me a dessert while doubting that I am really 57 today. The elephant ear I chose was divine even though I was so full I could hardly eat another bite but who can resist an elephant ear. I will be returning often with my husband and as many friends as we can get to go out to dinner with us. We will definitely be recommending The Star of India to everyone. If I could give it 6 stars out of 5 I would. They earned the extra credit.
